WHY RELYPASS EXISTS
We’re technologists who built RelyPass for ourselves.
We’d worked inside too many tech companies to be comfortable handing our most valuable data to someone else’s servers and hoping for the best. So we built the tool we actually wanted — one where the encryption makes your data inaccessible without your master passphrase. Not to us, not to anyone.
We use RelyPass ourselves, every day, for our own passwords, usernames, credit cards, and personal data. We built it to be simple and easy to use — the kind of tool that just makes your life better instead of asking more of you.
One honest caveat: because there’s no backdoor, we cannot help you recover your data if you forget your main passphrase. That’s the trade-off for a system where no one but you can get in.
Our goal is simple — make personal data security convenient and accessible for everyone. We’ve got new features and improvements planned for 2026, and we’re just getting started.

AES-256 Encryption
Every item in your vault is encrypted with AES-256-GCM — the same standard used by governments, banks, and the world's most security-sensitive institutions. Your data is mathematically unreadable without your master password.
Zero-Knowledge Architecture
Encryption and decryption happen entirely on your device. Our servers receive only encrypted blobs — we have zero technical ability to access, view, sell, or be legally compelled to surrender your passwords. Not even us. Not ever.
No Tracking. Ever.
We collect no analytics on what you access, no behavioral telemetry on your credentials, and no data is shared with or sold to third parties. Your usage patterns belong to you. Our business model doesn't require watching you.
